Have you ever taken a look at how many ingredients are listed on the back of a store bought coffee creamer? Are you surprised at how many of them you can’t even pronounce? I make my own creamer now and it only uses 4 total ingredients and is oodles cheaper than the processed stuff at the store!
This is an incredibly easy recipe and I keep a batch on hand at all times for my daily coffee fixes!
All you need is:
1/2 can of condensed milk (save the other half in a sealed container in the fridge for next week’s batch of creamer!)
10 oz of milk – I use 2% because that’s what we have on hand
roughly 2 TBSP of vanilla extract – to be honest I just give the bottle a good squeeze and count it good
and just a touch of peppermint extract, roughly 1/4 tsp but don’t over do it!! A little goes a LONG way with peppermint!
Mix all these together really well, you don’t want the condensed milk to be a dense sludge on the bottom. Get your whisk out and give yourself a quick workout! Then pour it into any sort of container you like and store it in the fridge. It will stay fresh as long as the milk you added hasn’t met its expiration date yet.
